A Message from Our President:

Welcome Paddock families to the 2022-2023 school year! I hope everyone is enjoying the summer break and carved out some family together-time! The Paddock PTA is planning another exciting and enriching year for our students, teachers and families! A sampling of the events include:

  • Pantherfest
  • Teacher Appreciation Week
  • Community Cares
  • School Assemblies

In addition to supporting student, teacher and family engagement last year’s PTA efforts raised $16,000 to contribute to the purchase of new playground equipment for Paddock. A heartfelt thanks to the PTA committee chairs who planned all of these events and to the parents, teachers and community members who supported them! This year’s fundraising efforts will support the return to student assemblies.

Membership is an important part of that support and it’s a great way to stay connected to all of the activities at Paddock as well as issues that impact our schools at the state and national levels. Your $11 Paddock PTA membership automatically includes membership in the Illinois PTA and the National PTA and provides access to online parenting resources, information on legislative issues, and even discounts and offers from companies that will save you money! Joining doesn’t come with any strings. There is no requirement to volunteer when you join the PTA – though volunteering IS a great way to meet other families and set an example for your students!

I encourage you to attend monthly PTA meetings for updates on Paddock and District 15 activities as well as a report directly from Principal Christ. Please feel free to reach out to me or PTA Membership Chair Jenny Chang with any questions about membership or ways to be involved, but know that all of our voices should be heard and your attendance at monthly PTA meetings ensures you will not only stay in the know, but share in the grow!
